My Celebration IV Print Reserve Offer! [May. 3rd, 2007|04:42 pm]
Jedi Knerds: Star Wars Fans beyond any hope

tdhartist
I put a lot of thought into whether or not I would do a Reserve List for my print. After mulling it over and over, I decided it would be a good idea to do so.

What I am planning is the List will be for the first 100 prints. #1 thru 100 will be available IN THE ORDER the reserve was received. If you order first, you get #1 and so on and so forth.

I also decided that I will give reservists an incentive. The print will be $30, BUT if you are one of the reservists, you will pay $25. The rules are:

1. If you reserve a print (or prints), I will need you to have your name as appears on your ID because your confirmation email will include which print number you will receive.

Example: If you are John Smith and you happen to tell everyone in a forum you got #1 and Joe Blow wanted #1, I want to make sure John Smith picks it up, not Joe who seemed shifty from the beginning. I didn't like his eyes I tell ya!

2. If you are having someone pick a print up for you (NON-Attendees) PLEASE include the name of the person picking the print up for you in the email.

3. All reserved prints must be picked up at my Art Show table by the closing  of activities Friday, May 25. The exact time is unknown since the schedule has not yet been released. Any prints not picked up will be put back in stock and sold at the regular price on Saturday morning.

4. DO NOT SEND MONEY!!! This is VERY important. You (or your representative) will pay for the print(s) at the show.

To reserve a print (or prints) please email hodgesc4print@gmail.com

You should receive a confirmation email within 24 hours.

If you have any questions, email me at
hodgesart@gmail.com . The Email is for the reserve only.

A company has made Real Life Vaporators.

Its a little sketchy on the details, but this device seems to be able to make water out of thin air... in the desert. I wish there was a picture of it.

For those of you that are not members of my Yahoo Group... now would be a good time to join.

On Monday, I will be offering pre-orders for a Yahoo Group only sketchbook. It will not be offered at Cons or in my eBay store and only Group members will be able to get it.

The Sketchbook will include original sketches for "M", "The D'Vilknights" and some Star Wars concepts created during the past 3 years for the Hyperspace webstrip. There will also be a few doodles of the Buffy/BSG/Serenity/Comic sort.

The ordering will also only be available from Monday October 2 until Friday October 6 of this week. So if you are planning on joining, jump on it before 9am PST Monday October 2nd. The pre-order info will be sent out at 9:15am PST on the 2nd.

The sketchbook will not have a limit per person, but what is ordered between Monday and Friday is what is printed.

Yoda the gentle giant has arrived safe and sound at Paignton Zoo.
And keepers say he is settling in well to his new home.
The 12ft male Rothschild giraffe arrived at noon yesterday, 29 hours after leaving his brother Ymer at Givskud Zoo in Denmark.

Hey Folks,

I've received a few emails from folks saying how they wish I had done this on Thursday and Friday because that's when they get paid.... so, because I'm a super cool dude (AGREE WITH ME!!!) I've decided that I will extend the offer from yesterday until Friday evening.

So now you have until 11:59pm, Friday September 22 to get in on the "Buy One, Get One free" webstrip deal, the "Sketchbook w/ Sketch on the back" deal and the "buy a print, get a sketch card" deal.

I want to warn you, there are only 4 Celebration III prints and 4 Female mandalorian prints left.

I will also extend the offer to the Karen Allen Print. Anyone who purchases a set of the "Raiders" by Cat Staggs and I will get a 8.5 x 11 head sketch of the character of their choice (drawn by me... not Cat, LOL).

If someone purchases the Elektra brown bag piece in the store, you'll also get a 8.5 x 11 head sketch of the character of your choice and if you buy the Gothmog (from Lord of the Rings) I will throw in a Sketch Card with a character of your choice.

If you buy a sketchbook, print, print set, the Elektra or Gothomg, PLEASE in the memo of the Paypal payment, let me know who you want sketched.

Basically, I'm cleaning house on art I have available and I'm wanting to make sure the people who want it can get it!

Ok, get a shoppin'!
